So I was using poppers with no problems while I was in Amsterdam could sniff the whole night 10 times. Lately, I bought 2 kinds of poppers 1 from Hungary and 1 from Romania where I live, both are rush. One is yellow and the other was grey. Even if I do 1 sniff, 1!!! Not even deep breath, in about 3 hours I cough like crazy and my nose gets clogged and runny. Then for 2 days, I feel sick, hard to breathe, etc... Are they fake? Is there another way to use them besides sniffing? What's the problem here?

I think the problem is heavy usage in a small amount of time. Using it a lot in a small period of time is the best way for the side effects to occur. I would say give your body at least a few days rest in between uses, maybe even more if you have an intense session. I used poppers every day for about a week and starting getting coughs so I had a break to let my body recover, and now I'm back onto it again, although I now know to have breaks in between.

I told u I just do 1 sniff, and then I can wait for another month and do 1 sniff again, that means inhaling once and I will still get sick. I don't do any I tense sessions as u said

What does the bottle of grey rush say exactly?

Perhaps the bottle you were sniffing originally, was old? Newer, freshly opened Poppers will have a stronger effect.

I'm currently enduring runny nose and sneezing fits after having a long, hard go two nights in a row.

Though I do wonder if there is a difference between the after effects if you do/ do not orgasm. Because I haven't.

One bottle is a different color from the other and you bought it in Romania...Hungary etc. Well I know what I think.

I love poppers, but they do make it hard to breathe if you use them a lot. I have been sick for days now because of them. They really duck you lungs up if you use them a lot. I just can’t do them anymore because I do them in excess.

ive recently moved from 10ml style brands to 25ml style brands and I’ve been burping and feeling like I want to hone sick and breathing problems have cropped up too
The only difference I’ve noticed is the smell is a lot sweeter and the hit is slightly weaker so perhaps try smaller bottles like 10 ml liquid gold I’ve found that to be pretty side effect free

Hi guys i am 51 yo male. I have not been using poppers for several months now. I really miss masturbating with them but i because a very heavy user and i was using them 2 and 3 times a day. The orgasms and rushes i got were beyond belief.

I have been unemployed for a while now and there is nothing to do at the moment and i could really use some excitement in my life. I want to know what the long term health risks are and is there any proper reliable information out there about long term use and the risks. I know about all the general things you read online about using them. There are a lot of opinions out there but i cant seem to find facts. Im 51 so not young and carefree lol.

1 1/2 years ago i developed breathing issues and my nasal dried up, i lost some taste and smell too. I had not been using them again for several months but i dont know if that's related to poppers.

I have no clue where to buy good poppers in the USA. Joe Miller of PWD died in 2010 and it's been zilch since. Apparently, there are some Euro dealers willing to ship to USA. Isopentyl nitrite, which some of them offer, is preferred due to less toxic side effects.

Even with my home brew amyl, I often use Ventolin inhaler to relax the airways, which seem to constrict AFTER popper use.

I personally would NOT use IPN, IBN or BN. That leaves normal amyl(pentyl) and isopentyl nitrite, which are not made and sold in the USA. Lockerroom in BC may make it, but they won't say what's in their poppers.

I don't think it's as safe as it's used to. I've heard that these companies are labelling bottles that don't match what is in the bottle. I've given up amyl - everyone on here seems to think its fine - but all the doctors seem to disagree. I trust doctors

I'm a decade younger than you, but I know how you feel.

I think poppers are particularly seductive/dangerous as we get older and our natural libido starts to fade. We can hit the bottle hard & feel as horny as we remember we did in our 20s.

But the health consequences soon come! Over-doing poppers will rob you of your vitality. You just won't be as fit as you would be if you didn't. And with Covid around, it's not a good time to have any habits that weaken your immune system & respiratory system.

What I'd recommend is you get more into healthy things like yoga, weightlifting, even identifying and listening to a lot of the music that raises your energy. You can build a ritual around doing these things before using porn. Sure, it will never be quite as intense as your memories of gooning in the popperhole, but your whole life will be in better balance and you'll be happier.

Which reminds me of something else: For me, my years of pathological poppers over-use were years of deep anxiety and depression. Once I try to overcome the anxiety and depression, my urge to use poppers fades. It becomes just a crazy memory of the days when gooning to video file meant more to me than all the possibilities of life itself!

I wish I've never discovered poppers. Recovery takes forever...

No doubt about it Billy. Poppers after the age of 50 can lead to a downward spiral of health problems. Loss of eyesight, breathing difficulties and sleep disorders.
